I have just started a new position as Humboldt Chair in Digital Humanities at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität
Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany and I am looking for researchers with a range of interests and expertise in language, computing and the digital world. I currently have 8 jobs to offer at postdoctoral level or at doctoral level. If you are interested in an exciting

What are the jobs about?
Join a team of researchers who will be tackling an ambitious programme of innovative research
looking at various aspects of language in today´s digital world.
Specific project strands will
develop computational, corpus, and statistical methods and software, topic-focused projects
will be in digital environmental humanities, digital literary and cultural history, digitally supported storytelling and creative writing. In your cover letter, please specify which of these focus areas you are applying for. Depending on your qualifications
and experience there are different options of appointment.
Type of positions
PhD positions are for up to 3 years (65% or 100%) Postdoctoral positions are initially for
2 years (100%), with the opportunity for extension after successful completion of that period.
